Last week of school and a (semi) organized closet

This is the last week of school here...finally!  Well, I say "finally" now but in a couple of weeks (maybe not even that long), I'll be all like, "how many weeks is it 'til school starts back?" Cause the demolition duo will be working on my nerves pretty thoroughly by then...

Boy #1: Mommm!  He punched me in the arm!

Boy #2: Nooo, he STARTED it!  He came in here and smacked me on the back of the head for NO reason! I was just sittin' here mindin' my own business!

Me:  STOP fighting NOW or you are both grounded!

Boy #1 whacks boy #2 a good one

Boy #2 retaliates and calls Boy #1 a derogatory name

I then send them both to their rooms and listen to, Mommm, can we come out now?...we promise not to fight anymore! about a hundred and fifty nine times before I finally agree to let them come out.

Repeat the above 10 or 12 more times and you have a day in the life of me this summer.  Fun times are on the way!

In other news, I finally took the plunge and organized my closet yesterday afternoon.  I had not yet done that since we moved in two months ago and yesterday morning when I was getting ready for church, I had a major case of  I'm fat and have absolutely NOTHING to wear!

Don't you just love those days?  As women, we all have them.  Makes no difference that we are still the exact same size and shape we were two days ago when everything fit fine.

I must have tried on 5 or 6 different outfits before I finally accepted one and probably only then because I was running out of time and still needing to tame my hair that looked like party of raccoons had slept in it.

I have a few days like that each month which always possesses me  to tear through my clothes like a tornado through a trailer park. See...

And for my after shots...TA DAA!

Now, mind you, if you are an OCD person, you're probably having a conniption fit right about now because everything is not color coded and all on the same kind of hangers with all the shoes facing northeast and pants southwest or something but hey, all the casual stuff is on one side and the not so casual on the other and that gigantic U-Haul moving box full of panties I never wear and draped with all the rejected outfits has been removed.

In my world, this is organization at its finest and I intend to keep it this way.

At least until my next "I feel fat" day.  :)
