I raised 2 boys - along with 2 girls - and I think you'll definitely relate to that post. Your #1 here is so true. They wanted to wrestle and knock each other around on the floor to work out frustrations. I wanted to talk. ONe of the best pieces of advice I ever got was from a close friend and mother of 4 boys who advised me to always try to be doing something when I wanted to talk to them - do dishes, rake leafs, etc. It worked. They'd open up more.
